Your household, explained

The first time you sign in, ReciLore creates a household for you automatically and makes you its owner. There's no "create or join" screen — you're ready to use the app immediately.

Adding your family

As the owner, open Settings → Household to invite people by email. Each person gets a link that adds them to your household. See Inviting someone.

One household per account

Each ReciLore account belongs to exactly one household at a time. To move to a different household you first leave your current one (which signs you out), then accept an invitation from an account that isn't in a household. See Can I be in more than one household?.

Joining instead of starting fresh

If someone sends you an invitation link before you've ever signed in, opening it lets you join their household instead of getting a brand-new one.
